what I’m wearing…

the bag

The Christmas I got engaged, my parents gave me this classic Louis Vuitton Speedy 30 bag. I had been wanting one for years ever since I saw one of the most stylish girls I know carrying one that her grandmother had passed down to her. I was not only obsessed with the timeless style of this bag, that was first commissioned by Audrey Hepburn by the way, but I loved the idea of having a bag I could pass down someday. Now years later, it’s still one of my favorite bags and always makes me feel special when I carry it. Check out The Real Real for great deals on this iconic bag.

the scarf

What sounds more enticing, and luxurious, than six feet of cashmere that you can wear as a scarf? I’m absolutely addicted to this camel scarf from White and Warren. Super soft, and warm, this chunky scarf is great for wearing day-to-day, and perfect for covering up with on a chilly plane. The long length and wide width make it great for tying in lots of different ways. Check out my scarf tutorial on how I tie mine, and see how I wore this scarf in a more casual way here.

the sunglasses

We all need a go-to pair of sunglasses that look incredible on us whether we are rested, or if we got four hours of sleep the night before. These sunglasses are definitely that for me. Purchased years ago, I still love them so much, and I’m proud to say I’ve had several friends get them and love them just as much as I do. Maybe it’s the perky, winged edges, or maybe it’s the oversized tortoise pattern, but whatever the reason, I love these sunnies.

Ah, of course your vest in vintage — it is absolutely amazing! Also, you should definitely think about doing a how-to tie a scarf tutorial. Your scarves always look so put together & cozy! 🙂 Xo, Alison
