Since Labor Day marks the unofficial end of summer, today I’m giving the caftan thing one last fling. The end of summer used to mean saying goodbye to white shoes, white jeans and bright colors in general, but now it just means slowly transitioning into light layers, booties and more tailored silhouettes in pretty much any color you choose. No need to lose the white jeans after Labor Day, pair them with a navy blazer or chunky sweater and you’ll be the peak of chic.
I’m thrilled that the summer is unofficially over and that “fall” is upon us for so many reasons. The temperature will be dropping soon, fall fashion is my absolute favorite and I will be a new mother by the end of the year. Caftans have been a big part of my wardrobe this summer, and although I won’t be giving up bright colors and patterns, I will be storing away super flowy silhouettes that scream summer style.
Wishing you a fun and relaxing Labor Day weekend. Cheers to the fun of fall that’s right around the corner!
