Before now I never had a “uniform” but ever since I became a mom relying on an outfit formula that works for me is essential for getting out the door quickly. Most taste-making fashion designers, and influencers alike, have a “uniform” that takes the work out of getting dressed. Micheal Kors, for example, is famous for exclusively wearing his black t-shirt and blazer. And even the iconic Anna Wintour has a simple formula for how she puts her outfits together.

For running errands, doctors appointments and a casual lunch, my ootd (outfit of the day) and current uniform has been part comfort, cozy and a lot chic. Consisting of a pair of joggers, sleek flats, a classic shirt and a vest, and topped off of course with a bright red lip. These pieces while pretty basic by themselves, come together looking fresh with a luxe bag and leopard flats.

My obsession with joggers started years ago, and has grown over time as I realized how versatile they are going with everything from Converse tennis shoes to the sleekest of heels. Whether it’s a short vest like this one, or a long, double breasted sleeveless jacket, adding a vest over a classic shirt makes my outfit feel complete and polished.¬†Having a “uniform” is a great way to get out the door feeling good, put together and super stylish in a flash. Stay tuned to see how my uniform evolves over time. Have a great week!
