A few weeks ago I shared my current “uniform,” and today’s look is definitely a variation on that theme (find the original post here). No matter what our current phase of life, our busy lives demand that we get out the door quickly and have outfits that will look chic while keeping us comfortable enough to conquer the day. This formula has helped me so much the past few months, and I hope it helps you get dressed and on with your fabulous life as quickly as possible.
A sleeveless jacket, sailor stripes, joggers and Chanel flats made up this version of my current uniform paired with a girl’s best friend aka the cross body bag, this Gucci classic made me hands-free and ready to tackle the tasks ahead. I topped off my look with a navy hat to cover up my hair that desperately needed to be washed, and I was ready to go.
Today’s ensemble is something I threw on for my first time running errands avec Bébé Dittner. I needed to be comfortable getting the car seat (OMG those things are so heavy) in and out of the car, and picking things up at Target, the dry cleaners and grabbing a coffee. Maybe other new mothers don’t dread getting in and out of the car with a newborn, but I definitely have to psych myself up to run tons of errands with the baby, and always need to feel put together and comfortable to not end the outing in tears.
Whatever your day holds, know that there’s a way for you to feel stylish and comfortable so that you can conquer your day in style!
