For some reason I have been really drawn to midi dresses lately. Maybe it’s being a new mom and having to bend down in public to pick up the baby, maybe it just seems more comfortable or maybe it’s because the midi length is such a big trend right now, but whatever the reason I’m really digging it.
Most recently wearing this midi embroidered dress, and falling in the with this midi trench dress (seen all over my Instagram), this length is really speaking to me and keeping me cool in the hot summer months. This striped dress has been a go-to for summer travel and errand running alike. I always love a stripe, especially when it feels like wearing my pajamas.
You’ve probably experienced having a bag that’s so big you lose things in it, so you may be surprised to hear that I often times lose things in this small Gucci crossbody bag. The square shape means I can carry all of my essentials, and then some, and I’ve always had a thing for a tassel zipper pull. Worn most famously at New York Fashion Week, twice actually, and usually coming with me to dressy and casual occasions, this gift from a few Christmases ago has really earned it’s keep in my closet.
the phone case
I was on the hunt for new phone case when the creative team at iDeal of Sweden happened to email me wanting to collaborate. I was instantly on board with their concept of changing your phone case to go with your outfit, especially since I don’t get to change my bag as often as I would like during the week because I’m usually carrying a diaper bag. Great price, incredible design and light but sturdy construction has made me fall in love with these phone cases. Don’t miss their latest collection that will be coming to this blog soon. I’m especially partial to the palm tree & crazy coconut prints!
