what I’m wearing…
Warby Parker sunglasses // J.Crew chambray shirt // Clare V. Alistair Petit bag c/o // Hunter Bell skirt in black orchid c/o // similar black moto jacket found here & here // similar nude heels, also love these budget friendly nude heels // Nars lipstick in Lana //
I’ve loved moto jackets for several seasons now, and I get so excited to pull mine out, and throw them over my shoulders, every fall. I think what makes me love a moto jacket so much is its versatility. Dressed up with a midi skirt and nude heels today, this jacket could easy go over a denim dress and ballet flats, or with a gold skirt and Converse. The one I’m wearing today is “vegan leather” aka faux leather, like this one, and I always find a buttery leather moto jacket hard to resist.
This fall I’m so excited to once again be a Clare V. brand ambassador, and I can’t think of a better way to introduce her Fall 2017 collection to you than with this dark green, circle bag…swoon! This gorgeous dark green color could seem impractical at first glance, but I’ve been carrying it a lot in the past couple of weeks and it always seems to go with whatever I have on.
I think this bag makes six or seven bags I own that have both top handles and crossbody straps. The beauty of this strap combo is that you can feel ladylike when carrying the top handles, or throw it on your shoulder for hands-free carrying. Stay tuned to see how I style this bag in multiple ways.
It’s no secret that I’ve been drawn to midi lengths lately, and this floral textured skirt from Hunter Bell’s latest collection is the perfect thing to feed my midi fixation. When I first tried it on, I had on my Chanel ballet flats, and it looks really chic with those. Today I styled it with heels for a dressier look, and I plan to wear it to a family wedding with a black turtleneck later this fall. Shopping note…this exact color isn’t pictured on the Hunter Bell site, but just select the color “black orchid” for this exact skirt and color.
