what I’m wearing…

J.Crew trench coat // Baukjen button up shirt (get 20% off with code AYA20, & size up for it to fit like mine) c/o // Clare V. red bag c/o // AG boyfriend jeans (size down one size) // Karen Walker sunglasses // Nars lipstick in Lana // Prada loafers, love these classic Gucci loafers, and these budget friendly loafers //

the top

I’ve been on the hunt for a classic shirt that fits like it’s borrowed from the boys, but is also flattering to my figure, so when I spotted this striped button up in Baukjen’s fall collection I was so excited to find just what I was looking for. To make sure the shirt fit a little more like a tunic, I sized up one size to a size 8. This top is another addition to my closet that I miss when it’s in my dirty clothes hamper. It also has washed up really well, and is easy to steam. Use code AYA20 to get 20% off this top and Baukjen’s entire fall collection (including my favorite striped track pants and black jumpsuit).

the bag

The power of a red accessory is strong. This bright hue can add the perfect amount of color to most looks, and somehow always comes off classic and sophisticated. This red crossbody from Clare V. is so simple and chic, and reminds me of a bag you would see in a French boutique in Paris. The magnet closure makes it easy for running around town, and for nights out as well.

the jeans

This fall I have been fashion fortunate to find several new pieces that I’m addicted to (see above shirt for example), and these boyfriend jeans are definitely in that group. I scored them during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, and have been wearing them about three times a week since. I’m usually one that prefers my clothes a little looser, but I sized down one size in these jeans making them fit a little more traditionally, and less baggy like a normal boyfriend jean. Love them!
