what I’m wearing…
Nars lipstick in Lana // Cheeky Vintage leopard coat, love this leopard coat, this under $120 leopard coat and this budget friendly leopard coat // Clare V. red bag c/o // White and Warren long scarf, also love this similar one for under $50 // Saint James striped shirt, also love this navy striped shirt // similar black jeans here // Converse All Stars sneakers //
A lot of times, the most classic and versatile pieces are simple and solid in color, but the always stylish and timeless leopard coat is definitely an exception to that rule. I’ve had this leopard lovely for several years now, and I’m always excited to wear it every time the temperature drops.
Last holiday seasons I dressed it up with heels and a metallic skirt, and one of my all-time favorite ways to wear it is with plaid, seen here. J.McLaughlin brought their leopard topper back again this season after it sold out almost immediately last year, and it seems that Asos always stocks a great leopard coat. I also love this one that J.Crew made this season.
When I realized that this chunky camel scarf was actually six and a half feet of cashmere, I finally put my finger on why it feels so luxurious (haha!!). There’s something so glam and chic about this scarf, so it’s no wonder why this is my most popular pin, and why I was almost late to several fashion shows because street style photographers kept stopping me when I wore it like this to Fashion Week.
I also have this scarf in lavender, see how I styled it here, and it has been a constant travel and winter companion for almost ten years. If you don’t want to take the plunge with 6.5 feet of cashmere right now, I also love this chunky tassel scarf and this double-face scarf that’s under $50. Also, get a step-by-step tutorial on how I tie this chunky scarf here.
When I first saw this red bag I thought, oh it looks so French. French things seem to always be the perfect balance between practical and pretty, and this bag is definitely that. This red bag has definitely upped the style quotient with whatever I pair it with including jeans and a trench coat, and a LBD and heels. Clare V. is one of my all-time favorite handbag designers because of her simple and sleek designs, and her dedication to style, and she definitely got it right once again with this red bag.
