Last year, one of my New Year’s resolutions was to expand my jeans collection, and these boyfriend jeans were the perfect addition to my closet. Always comfortable and stylish, they work with a blazer and Chanel flats, a trench coat and loafers and the ripped knees seem to add the perfect amount of cool to otherwise polished looks. The exact jeans I’m wearing are sold out, but I love this super similar pair and this one as well.
I love the versatility, and classic style, of a silk scarf. The one I’m wearing today is Bill Blass from the 1970s that I kind of stole from my mom. She bought it on a special shopping trip when she was in high school, and when I found it in her closet I “borrowed” it, and have yet to give it back. The tan, black and white colors make it perfect for mixing with other things, so it almost always comes with me when I travel. For your shopping purposes, I found this similar silk scarf that has the same tan, black and white color scheme that would be super versatile.
I’m so sad to say this, but I think this is the last time I’m going to wear these leopard flats. I’ve had them for over three years, and they are so worn that they are past repair. So it’s time to find a new leopard flat! They have been such great shoe because they dress things up, like joggers and a puffer vest, and they really worked when I was super pregnant and needed comfortable and chic shoes. I’ve been eyeing these Ferragamo leopard loafers for quite some time, but don’t know if I’m ready to make the investment. I’ll keep you posted as to what I choose.
