what I’m wearing…

Karen Walker sunglasses // Nars lip pencil in Red Square // SheIn white tweed jacket c/o, runs true to size, I’m wearing the medium // J.Crew striped turtleneck // Chanel pin via Cheeky Vintage, similar Chanel pin here //¬†Clare V. leopard bag c/o // love these similar distressed jeans // love these similar gold boots //

the pin

Have you ever gotten something new, and not known what you did without it? That’s how I felt when a friend gave me this Chanel pin for a birthday gift a few years ago. I absolutely treasure this vintage piece, and everything I pin it on instantly looks luxe, like this under $50 white tweed jacket¬†that I’m wearing today. See how I wore it with a camo jacket, on a beret, and with a denim jacket layered over a LBD.

the bag

Some might say that owning two of the same clutch in different leopard prints is over doing it, but how much I carry this blush leopard bag, and its classic leopard counterpart, says otherwise. Starting last spring, this blush, leopard lovely has done some heavy fashion lifting pulling together everything from a sweater and track pants (see that outfit post here), and an army green jacket and this same Chanel pin (see that outfit post here). See, I knew I wasn’t crazy to have both of these bags!

the boots

Since the early 2000s, I’ve been singing the praises of metallic accessories. Metallics are super versatile because they’re neutral, and they add an extra amount of glamour to your outfit. I snagged these gold boots a while back in the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, and recently found this super similar under $100 pair. I’ve worn these gold boots in lost of different ways, but two of my favorites were when I wore them with a baby bump at Fashion Week, and with a pink vest last winter.
