what I’m wearing…
Tweed Jacket c/o Shein, runs small I’m wearing the large // chambray shirt // pink monogrammed bag // similar black jeans here // Charlotte Olympia Kitty Flats // Karen Walker sunglasses // Nars lip pencil in Red Square //
One of my favorite things about fashion today is that style is accessible at any budget. Take this tweed jacket with pearl buttons, that’s currently on sale for under $50, for example. When paired with a nice bag and shoes, and modern-day classics like a chambray shirt and black jeans, you would never guess that this pink and blue tweed jacket was under $100, much less under, $50.
Sizing suggestion…I think this tweed jacket runs small. I’m wearing the large.
This chambray shirt never ceases to amaze me on how many fashion jams it gets me out of. It’s always there when I need to bring something down to earth, and bridge the gap between something casual and something dressy. See how I wore it with these same jeans and another tweed jacket here, how I wore denim on denim here, and check out how I paired it with a ball skirt here.
We’ve probably all had that moment when we invested in a pieces and then months, and maybe even years later, we haven’t worn it nearly as much as we thought we would. I know I have definitely been there. When I invested in these kitty flats last January, I was sure that I would get my wear out of them, and I’m so pleased to say that I was right. Just as cheeky, and luxurious, as the day I bought them, I’m so glad I took the kitty flat plunge. See how I styled them in the past year by clicking here.
