what I’m wearing…
pink beret: BURU c/o // red lipstick: Nars, Lana // sleeveless trench: mine is sold out, but love this budget friendly sleeveless trench // grey tunic: BURU c/o // boyfriend jeans: AG sold out, love this similar pair // circle bag: Clare V. Alistair Petite c/o // white boots: BURU //
The white boot trend started this fall and has been a trend that I love, but I didn’t feel compelled to jump on it until I found this pair from BURU. A white boot feels so fresh, and practical, going into spring, and I always love a chunky heel for comfort and stability. I’m excited to extend my boot wearing from just the fall/winter seasons and enjoy these puppies all the way through spring.
My relationship with my sleeveless trench has been one of the longest I have ever had. I got mine years ago, I’m talking maybe six years, and it’s been a dependent relationship ever since. Sometimes we go on a break for a couple of months when I tell myself I need to mix it up, or I think I’m over it. And then I always circle back to it when I need that perfect third piece to thrown on to make an outfit really complete.
Sleeveless trenches come at lots of different price points, and I was so excited to find this $35 option for you guys this spring. See how I styled my sleeveless trench with a leopard blouse, with double denim and I think it looked pretty chic over a baby bump.
I literally laughed out loud when I saw that this pink beret was called the “dirty hair day beret,” because that’s exactly what I need it for. It definitely came to my rescue while at Fashion Week when I was too exhausted to wash my hair one night, and had an early fashion show the next day, and it has now made quite a few appearances at school drop off for Baby Bea. I love an item that is glamorous and practical at the same time.
