polka dot pants
Marc Jacobs famously said, “I don’t think there is ever a wrong time for a polka dot,” and I couldn’t agree with him more. Ladylike, cheerful and classic, polka dots look great whether they’re on a comfy pair of pants that feel like pajamas, or a tailored dress with a ruffle hem. See how I dressed up these pants with heels and a sleek blazer here. Get 20% off these polka dot pants with code VD20.
While I was sorting through my closet last week, I realized that I have a thing for stylish sweatshirts. The obsession first started with my faux fur sweatshirt from Hunter Bell, see that sweatshirt here, and this spring I’m so excited about my new “le freak c’est chic” sweatshirt from Clare V. This New York sweatshirt has been so cozy, and I always feel chic when I wear it. I love dressing it up with a skirt, see that outfit here, and it’s great when I want to feel dressed and comfortable at the same time.
I love classic ballet flats, not just because they are comfortable and ladylike, but especially because they go with pretty much everything and dress up anything I pair them with. I’m now on my second pair of nude and black Chanel ballet flats, and feel like I will be replacing these over and over again until the day I die. I love this budget friendly pair I found at Nordstrom, and don’t forget The Real Real for vintage and consignment Chanel flats. See three different ways I wore my favorite ballet flats with a pink sweater, a leopard top and camo pants.
