what I’m wearing…
pink blazer: J.Crew, love this similar pink blazer // pink striped shirt: Baukjen c/o // circle bag: Clare V. c/o // floral skirt: Who What Wear for Target (runs big, size down) // white boots: BURU //
Nothing feels more feminine, or more springy, than a bright floral. I scooped up this green floral midi skirt the second I saw it, and couldn’t resist the black and blush color as well. I’m going to pair this green floral skirt with the matching blouse for Easter, cannot wait. FYI I think this skirt, and the matching blouse, run big so I suggest sizing down one size. I ordered these pieces too big at first, and then swapped them out for a size 4 skirt and a small blouse.
It’s such a magic fashion moment when you see an item online and it arrives meeting, and especially exceeding, your expectations. That’s just what happened with the croc, embossed black circle bag from Clare V.
I fell in LOVE with this bag when I saw the photos, but was worried that it wouldn’t hold a lot, would look a little thin and wouldn’t hold its shape IRL. When it arrived it way exceed my hopes looking, and feeling, even better than it did in the photos. I carried it to lunch last week and it held my entire wallet, phone, lipstick and sunglasses with extra room.
Who else is so excited to keep wearing their white boots into the spring?! I for one, am so excited because heeled boots are so comfy, chic and give me extra height while not killing my feet. I wore these white boots first while in New York last month, and love pairing them with jeans, see them paired with jeans here. They are dressing down this floral skirt, and giving this outfit a little edge that I’m really loving.
I love versatile clothes! See how I wore these pieces other ways…
