what I’m wearing…

yellow beret: Madewell // red lipstick: Physicians Formula, Tu-Lip // chambray shirt: J.Crew // grey maternity dress: HATCH // leopard bag: Clare V. // black rain boots: Jeffery Campbell, also available at Shopbop //

It’s silly to think that I’ll be able to plan my “going to the hospital” outfit, because you never know when a baby is going to make their appearance, but if I have it my way I will be heading into the maternity ward in this super soft, and roomy, grey maternity dress. It’s been a go-to for more casual days, and a weekend staple since I got it a few weeks ago, and is machine washable, so that makes it easy to keep in rotation while my closet is limited. Plus it’s roomy enough to take me “all the way” through this pregnancy.

I love to layer it with my trench vest, see that outfit here, and these black rain boots are just the right height for the longer length of this dress. I’ve also worn it a lot with my trusty Converse. Today I paired it with my new fave beret (couldn’t resist this mustard yellow color), my chambray shirt that somehow still fits over my baby bump and my classic Clare V. leopard clutch.
